Tech-Talent Research

Premise for the Programos Foundation “Campus Innovationbed Tech-Talent Support Workshops” for undergraduates in universities, polytechnics, colleges of education in Nigeria:

- Our Foundation's Innovationbed Tech-Talent Support Research showed that, Students who in addition to examination and periodic assessment preparation are able to convert the efforts of writing/copying/photocopying daily lecture notes into innovative service/product ideas while still in school, are more likely to succeed post-graduation difficulties, become better citizens - those that will constructively build a nation than destroy it!

- We saw a need to help these students by conscripting global experts from around the world and local, sharing with them mentor-ship on innovation of high-impact to society so our undergraduates can irrespective of course of study find a purpose for their discipline, and nurture them early before graduation.

- Lay a strong foundation for Nigeria to solidify its innovations capacity development goal among youths in coming years.

With our Innovationbed Campus Workshops administered under the tenets of the Programos Foundation: Innovationbed Tech-Talent Support Research (ITTSR) to undergraduates across the 36 states and FCT Abuja in 2021/23 with more than 200 tertiary institutions to be impacted annually as scheduled, undergraduates of universities and polytechnics across Nigeria can be better up-skilled on how to imbibe personal disciplines, cultures, emerging skillsets that grow their aspirations to #innovate #digitalcontents with clear positive impact on their immediate communities, without the thoughts of traveling out, but by producing community-relevant innovations such as domestic #housechore apps, webpages, applications for IoTs/AI, wearables, sms-based products, mobile games, and interactive productions of limitless channels in varying internet connectivity capability scenarios: Gzero(0) to G5+.

Let’s build something great together.

Our Innovationbed Tech-Talent Support Research (ITTSR) shows that, Students who in addition to examination preparation are able to convert the efforts of writing/copying/photocopying contents of daily lectures into innovative service/product ideas while still in school, are more likely to succeed the demands of the outside world now, and close the gaps in education by more than 70% by 2030.
