It is now official that Programos Foundation’s Initiative Innovationbed Africa has concluded a partnership to the formation of an Online IT Talent and Skills Export Marketplace where skilled citizens in diverse new tech capacity areas from Nigeria are now able to be matched with global digital services/job opportunities on the TalentNations platform. The Innovationbed Startups Opportunities Gateway is now able to validate local talents and recommend accordingly suitable and world-class skills to match new job platforms like the TalentNations. All accredited skilled participants from Nigeria will be decorated with unique Premium Business Badges, which makes them recognized on TalentNations as outstanding providers with best practice to deal with.
Innovationbed Africa is a digital ecosystem of science, research and development. Our capacity programmes always will match the needs*, whether as students on our (Campus INNOVATION programme), graduates in our (Graduate Management Trainee Programme, GMTP-SIDOLiberty), or Workforce in Public and Private Organization on the (SPACE4Nigeria: Rapid Digital Transformation Programme in collaboration with UN ICT4SIDS) . We democratize access to global jobs by local citizens. We have transformed our national tech-scouting process into a viable ecosystem with incubations, innovation product showcasing on the global stage via the UN WSA Competitions, and an recently launching an IT service Export Center for our local citizens. Historically, our Graduate Trainee Programme which formed our flagship incubation programme since 2000 was a clear scientific process that took unemployed graduated off the streets of Nigeria, repackaged them within 2 months, with eventual supply to the labour market in the capital market sub-sector of the economy. The beneficiaries have remained loyal and grateful fifteen-twenty years after as we plan a reunion in 2023.
