What do we do at the Programos Foundation?
For 13 years we have consistently tech-scouted, promoted, showcased and presented the most innovative youngsters and their outstanding digital projects from young entrepreneurs around the regions in Nigeria who are working towards creating a sustainable and digital future.
Selected youth representatives of 36 states of the federation and FCT will now meet monthly before August 31st 2022 pushing the innovationbed Africa DIGITAL INNOVATION CAPACITY STATE INCUBATION HUBS campaign to promote increased and sustained participation in the UN WORLD SUMMIT AWARDS competition among about 190 countries in 2022 through virtual town halls.
In our maiden edition held May 11th, 2022, we want to warmly congratulate all the state representatives, our partners and our Special Guest Pastor Adegite Wilson representing AGITAD – a body of old students of University advancing corporate governance and national development. Our youth Guest Speaker, Ms Mirian Adebanke Amos, Founder, Studio Fierce – an innovationbed startup, who thrilled the audience to show that increasing women’s space in ICT domain cannot be overemphasized. We thank our Excellencies Executive Governors Of Nasarawa, Zamfara and Kano states for their ever-presence and honour to our foundation works through their Senior Special Advisers: Hon Haruna Sani Sani, Hon Tambura Yahaya Mohammed, and Hon Mustapha Ibrahim respectively, for the virtual-orientation Innovationbed Capacity Development Incubation Initiative for the teaming youths in every state. We particularly thank Hon Mustapha Ibrahim the SSA on ICT to Executive Governor of Kano State, HE Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR for insightful contributions to the tech Town Hall, and also compliments from the office of Architect Perparlo Saporito, President, OCCAM: Observatory for Digital Communications at the UN, wishing the OCCAM team a successful time at the upcoming High Level policy session of the WSIS Forum in Geneva.
We continually appreciate the sustained progress being made by all past winners of the WSA awards for Nigeria as they make up our digital ecosystem network “Innovationbed Startup Council” for the Programos Foundation to advocate that leadership better honour fair patronage and promotion of its local, globally rated resource innovators.

Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe, Zamfara, Federal Capital Territory. Selected startups from the exercise will have the opportunity to pitch at the NCS International Conference 2022 holding between 2nd – 4th in Ogun State.
