Nigerian youths are warming up to welcome the world’s best 45 innovation producers and winners of the World Summit Awards 2021 Winners Congress holding March 22-24, 2022 as they are treated to a pre-congress workshop virtually on March the 21st, 2022.

Climate crisis, gender and education inequalities, an increasing number of people who live in poor health conditions or social exclusion – global divides are more than ever visible.

Once more, the WSA Global Congress will be held online on March 22 – 24, 2022 and will gather the WSA Community from five continents to share their knowledge and best purpose-driven digital impact solutions for more inclusive world.

The programme will offer a wide range of panel discussions, workshops and interactive sessions, and the 45 WSA winners will pitch for the title of WSA Global Champion 2022. With their outstanding digital solutions, the create local change, make positive impact day by day and fight to reach the UN SDGs to narrow digital divides globally.

We will shed some lights about the #Innovationbed Tech-Talent Incubation-2030 survivability programmes targeted at these young people interested in the Creative and Film Industry in Nigeria – Nollywood Tech-Talent ReSkilling intervention to boost culture, tourism, entertainment renewal in the wake of technological advancements shaking the industry landscape and threatening displacements of actors especially the older generations of the industry who have been our favorites in decades. The reservoir of experience of these veterans whose experience will help the younger ones bring about the desired digital transformation and economic prosperity of the sector and the nation at large deserve our attention as tech community!

Innovationbed is an initiative of Programos Foundation – we implement the process of the WSA and ICT4SIDS in Nigeria.
The WSA is a unique awards system, selecting and promoting local digital innovation to improve society. Combining an ongoing series of international events and activities with a global network of start-ups, social entrepreneurs, mentors, jurors, speakers, experts, government leaders, academia and civil society, WSA is an international platform for cutting edge examples of how ICTs can impact society in a positive way.

A look back – WSA Global Congress 2020 & 2021

At the WSA Global Congress Vienna 2020, 120 international ICT experts got together to exchange how digital solutions drive the achievement of the UN SDGs and how digital creativity can make a positive impact on society – the 3 days event offered an intense learning journey and great networking. Due to the pandemic, the WSA Global Congress 2021 was held online. Travel-free, it enabled more than 800 participants to join the a global network to collaborate, share and learn.
