The WSA Shortlist showcases the great innovations that continues to emerge and drive a positive impact in society. High quality digital creative solutions prove to be vitally important to tackle the global challenges caused by inequalities, injustices and pandemic.

Programos Foundation’s research demanding a more drastic attention by regional leadership to support our goal of a million digital citizens startup innovation capacity development Incubation2030 is timely to improve Africa deteriorating results especially at this year’s World Summit Awards global competition.

The WSA National Expert for Nigeria, Amos Emmanuel, shares his joy as Nigeria has 2 products in the senior category shortlist of 2021 competition released December 23rd 2021, Follow The Money by Hamzat Lawal and Ogadonate by Segun Oke. We had earlier reported 3 youth projects  from Nigeria under the junior category shortlist released last month.

The international experts at WSA Grand Jury 2021 will evaluate the WSA Shortlist – 15 to 18 projects in each of the eight WSA categories pre-selected by the WSA Online Jury – and in a moderated and democratic process select the 40 WSA Winners 2021.
