It was the D-Day yesterday, December 3rd 2021 Innovationbed Africa through the UN World Summit Awards National Expert for Nigeria, Amos Emmanuel and Founder Programos Foundation, engaged and participated actively at the XXI OCCAM: Infopoverty World Conference sharing his 10-year report of both WSA and ICT4SIDS engagements, and digitizing thoughts meant to provoke under-development in developing countries by way of how we can complement efforts being made by governments, to incubate 1 million citizens of diverse backgrounds in digital service competencies by 2030. These beneficiaries will in turn impact their immediate society with productive innovations that bring food sufficiency, control insecurity, strategic governance, safe reliable healthcare, educational transformations, cultural adoption of DATA as the blood of digital transformation, and generally bring succor to citizens and make our society a better place to live.
OCCAM has being our starting international platform with UN-GAID since 2010 of our voluntary pilots and we remain grateful for the invitation at this edition which also gave Nigeria (a typical and special developing country) some good opportunity for its indigenous globally-rated innovators on the prestigious World Summit Awards #WSA #WSANigeria platform to have mentions and invitation to speak at the conference round-table. Kudos to Nigeria’s WSA National Nominee Okike Irene Nnenna who posited an excellent project that the whole world is interested in.
